If there is one thing that is consistent with the driving in this world it is the traffic signs. When the younger children age fifteen and above start preparing for his learners permit we start the memorization of signs. For this reason, we always state although the speed limits may always change in the various states and highways the traffic signs and shapes will remain the same. If you see an octagon shape, even if you did not see the word “stop” printed on it you would know that it was a stop sign. The upside down triangle is the yield sign and so forth.

When getting your free online insurance rates you will normally see the name of company or the statement that is big and bold that they will assist you in finding the cheapest rates. What are some of the things that would affect your auto insurance rates? If you were to ignore too many traffic signs and receive traffic tickets do you think it would have an effect on your auto insurance rates? Well, a young driver put it to the test because he thought he was exempt from the rules. While he was moving with the family between three states in a year he had accumulated four traffic tickets.

The first was running a stop sign. He never showed up in court, The second was a failure to yield when merging onto the highway and caused an accident when the car aside from him had to swerve left to avoid from being hit and had hit the car to left of him. He had kept driving but the other driver had gotten his license plate number. The third was running through railroad gates after they had come down giving a clear warning that a train was coming. He stated he did not see the train and knew he could make it in plenty of time.

The fourth time he was stopped, the policeman asked him to get out of the car and call someone to either tow the car or pick it up. His license had been revoked. When he said he knew nothing about that the policeman told him he could straighten it out at the police station. No one was able to get a hold of him because of the frequent moves and not all the mail had caught up to him. When he did receive a couple of pieces from the Department of Motor vehicles regarding a problem with his license he chose to ignore it.

His auto insurance was not up for renewal at this point so they were not aware of the third ticket and renewed the policy. It was getting ready to expire once again. It appears this young man had a mess on his hands and was not sure how to handle it. Now at eighteen, he was fully responsible for all the action he had taken and his excuse previous as he stated was “I didn't know what I had to do because no one told me”. The law does not remove traffic tickets for not being aware of the law and the Department of Motor Vehicles does not pull back notices and give you back your license because you did not contact them and when you finally did you did not know the rules.

What is the best thing for this young man to do? At this point his parents had suggested he get a lawyer and go to court on the fourth ticket since it was for speeding and driving with a suspended license. He did get the lawyer and did go to court. His license was
